Labor Savings
According to the Builders Estimators Reference Book by Frank R. Walker, a laborer will spend 6.5 hours helping a carpenter apply sheathing to a 1000 sq. ft. roof area. If the roof area is 3000 sq. ft. an employer would have to pay a laborer 19.5 man hours.
